XJ13 Reconditioning

Dear Murray,
As an old mechanic and racing driver (including working on David McKay's Jaguar 3.4-3.8 MK 11 saloons) and other sports and racing cars of that vintage I wish to complement you on the removal and complete re-building of my 5.3 litre Jaguar V12 engine.
It required a total overhaul including cylinder head reconditioning plus rings, bearings, cylinder sleeve replacement, timing chain etc etc.
After completion the motor and gearbox was replaced in the vehicle and considerable dyno / running-in and tuning was necessary.
Because of the complex nature of the carburetion considerable time and effort was involved.
The car was then taken to the final "Speed On Tweed" event in Sept 09, and Murray traveled to the event to make sure all was in order.
Since then the motor has been checked over and is running perfectly and NO OIL leaks have appeared anywhere. (I cant believe it!)
Murray has worked on various parts on the car and his diagnostic ability and attention to detail is excellent and for the first time since the car was built it is now running extremely well and my wife and myself are now enjoying this amazing car.
Luck was with us when we found out that Murray had moved Peninsula Jag P/L to South East Queensland.
I would be very happy to speak to anyone wishing to confirm our confidence in his services.
Thank you again Murray, job well done.
Gwen & Digby Cooke.
